Wildlife and Wetlands Trust Llanelli
Llanelli Wetland centre is a 450acre mosaic of lakes, scrapes, pools, streams and lagoons adjoining the salt marshes and shores of the scenic Burry Inlet. The range of habitats makes the site a refuge for many different plants and animals with tens of thousands of migratory birds visiting each year. Children love to hand feed the spectacular ducks, geese and swans, watch the colourful Caribbean flamingos and discover all sorts of amazing birds and wildlife. In the summer holidays you can go exploring in a canoe on a watery safari or hire a bike to explore the wetlands on wheels. There is something for all the family,363 days a year including family activities and events every weekend and during the school holidays.
The Wetlands centre is a 10 minute drive from the penthouse.
