Llangennith

Llangennith beach is situated on the western edge of the Gower Peninsula. This is another
of our favourites for its peace and quiet. The walk to Burry Holms takes about 30 minutes but is well worth it to watch the oyster catchers and cormorants. It is a dog friendly and family friendly beach and is great for water sports particularly surfing. There is a moderate amount of walking required from the car park (approx. 200m) which is accessed through the Hill Top camping and Caravan park. There are toilets and refreshments nearby. The Welsh Surfing Federation Surf School is based here.
