Gower View Penthouse is a duplex penthouse apartment arranged over 2 floors, the bedrooms are on the lower floor with the open plan living area above. It is furnished to a high standard and has porcelain floor tiles and underfloor heating throughout. Accessed from the third floor of the apartment block, there is NO LIFT.
The penthouse is situated on a 22km traffic free cycle path and is just 40 metres from the soft, sandy beach at the mouth of the estuary of the river Loughar. The tide goes out a long way so the beach provides a large play area for children. The view is amazing and constantly changing and the sunsets are spectacular.
St. Elli’s Bay Bistro and Brasserie is just a short walk along the beachfront from the penthouse. There is also a gelateria selling the most delicious ice creams and sorbets. There is a communal lawn outside the penthouse.
Living Room
The open-plan living room is spacious and light with separate areas for dining and sitting. There are full-length balconies on both sides with balcony furniture. 
The dining area balcony gets the morning sun – perfect for breakfast, the sea side balcony has the sun from late morning onward and is the ideal place to view the magnificent sunsets. This area has underfloor heating and also an electric wall radiator. We have a smart TV and a home cinema sound system which plays DVD’s, a selection of DVD’s and Hyperoptic 1GB wireless broadband. A highchair is available and there is a stair gate at the top of the stairs to stop little people finding their own way to the bedrooms below!
Kitchen
The kitchen has a ceramic hob with cooker hood over, 
electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. You will find the cupboards stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and fabric conditioner, foil and cling film.
Bedrooms
All the bedrooms have electric wall radiators as well as underfloor heating. The beds are made up for your arrival with fresh, crisp linen and there is a choice of summer and winter duvets. Hand, bath and beach towels are provided.
The master bedroom has patio doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the sea, it is a wonderful view to wake up to! It has a luxurious, king sized divan bed providing us with some of the best night’s sleep we have had for a long time. (May have to think about replacing our bed at home now!). There is a smart TV, walk-in wardrobe and hair dryer.
The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a spacious power shower, basin, wc, wall heater and heated towel rail. A travel cot for the use of infants is in the wardrobe as well as a stunt kite and a selection of toys, games and books.
Both the second and third bedrooms have twin beds and fitted wardrobes. There is a bed guard in the wardrobe of the second bedroom which can be used to ensure little people do not roll out of bed.
The family bathroom has a bath with power shower over, wc, basin, wall heater and heated towel rail. In both bathrooms, you will find hand wash, shower gel and toilet rolls.
Balconies
There are storage boxes on both balconies containing balcony furniture, chairs for the beach, buckets, spades and beach games.
Parking and Bikes
Parking permits operate on site. The penthouse has a permit for one designated parking space and one visitor parking space. There are bike storage sheds around the site.
Dogs
Unfortunately, due to the terms of our lease, dogs are not permitted in the penthouse.
