The lead guest must be over 21 years of age and authorised to make the booking and to accept these Booking Terms and Conditions by all persons named on the Holiday Rental Booking Form. The lead guest will be responsible for all payments due. The owners do not accept bookings from groups, or for hen and stag parties. The owners reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
In order to confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday rental fee is required. If payment is not received within 3 days of verbal or email confirmation, the reservation will be released and there will be no guarantee that the property will subsequently be available. The balance of the holiday rental fee is due 4 weeks prior to the booking arrival date together with the refundable damage deposit. If the balance is not paid on time the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled, the deposit will be forfeited and the owner will re-advertise the dates affected.
Bookings received 4 weeks or less before the booking arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Refundable Damage Bond
A refundable damage bond of £150 must be paid with the balance of the holiday rental fee. Guests are asked to notify the owners of any loss, damages or breakages before departure. The refundable damage bond will be returned within 2 weeks of departure on condition that:
1. the parking permits have been returned to the container in the penthouse
2. the keys have been returned
If there is any loss, damage, breakage or extra cleaning a deduction will be made.
You may cancel your booking at any time. Cancellation must be communicated to the owners in writing and takes effect from the date it is received by them. In the event of cancellation the following charges become applicable:
More than 4 weeks prior to arrival date – 20% of full cost
Less that 4 weeks prior to arrival date – 100% of full cost
It is the responsibility of guests to ensure that their personal belongings are insured. The owners cannot accept any liability for theft of, loss of or damage to personal possessions. It is recommended that guests arrange adequate travel insurance for cover in case of cancellation.
Occupation of the Property
Only the named guests are permitted to use or stay in the property. If you are expecting overnight visitors, you must let the owners know. You and your party must not at any time exceed the number of sleeping places, i.e. 6. The owners have a right at all times to refuse access to the property for people who are not members of the party.
Guests are entitled to use the parking space marked 99 outside Cwrt Myrddin. If space is required for another vehicle guests must use the visitor spaces marked V. There are two parking permits in the penthouse, one specifically for space 99 and the other for any visitor space. Guests are advised to display these on the dashboard at all times. Parking wardens visit the site on a regular basis. Guests are responsible for the security of their vehicles.
Directions and Keys
Directions to the penthouse will be emailed on receipt of the balance of the holiday rental fee. The keys will be posted 2 weeks prior to your stay.
Arrival and Departure
The penthouse is available from 3.00 pm on the arrival day booked and guests are asked to leave by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
Guests must not do or permit to be done anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance or cause of damage to any neighbouring property. They must not play or permit to be played in the penthouse any musical instrument or sound production equipment between 11.00 pm and 8.00 am or at any time so as to be audible outside the premises.
Wall heaters and electric towel rails
The night storage heater in the hallway is left on from Oct 1 to March 31. If you turn on any of the other wall heaters or the electric towel rails in the bathrooms please turn them off before you leave.
Smoking is not allowed in the penthouse or on the balconies.
Unfortunately, due to the terms of our lease, pets are not allowed in the penthouse.
Guests are asked to leave the penthouse in a clean and tidy condition and to remove all rubbish on the day of departure.
Children must be supervised on the balconies at all times.
Barbecues are not allowed on the balconies.
