National Botanic Garden of Wales
The garden opened in May 2000. It has an amazing collection of over 8000 plant species spread over 560 acres of beautiful countryside. It is a fascinating blend of the modern and the historic. There is an inspiring range of themed gardens, the world’s largest single-span glasshouse, a new tropical butterfly house, play areas and a national nature reserve all set in a Regency landscape. The restaurant serves delicious food.
If you are a member of a gardening organisation you may find there is a reciprocal ticket arrangement, enquire before you go.
The National Botanic garden of Wales is a 30 minute drive from the penthouse.
